Mars Education

Math Blaster is an online space-themed game that reinforces math concepts. Users must create a free account to access the game, and the game can be synched to mobile devices and Nintendo DS™ for uninterrupted play across devices. The Math Blaster website also has math-focused worksheets, puzzles, and activities found under the "Cool Math" header on the website. Math Matters, Apply It! is an applied mathematics awareness campaign, created for K-12 students and teachers as well as anyone who wants to know more about the mathematics behind everyday life and the technologies we encounter. The site provides downloadable PDFs on a variety of topics including the math behind pedestrian movement, pattern formation, smoke animation, and more. The MEL Science website provides a collection of science experiments and activities that students can perform in the classroom, the lab, or at home. MIT Blossoms

MIT Blossoms is an international open source library of over 100 math and science video lessons. The lessons are rooted in project-based learning (PBL) strategies to enhance high school student instruction in a variety of subjects including biology, chemistry, math, physics, and engineering. Every 50-minute lesson includes video segments, a teacher’s guide, downloadable handouts, and a list of additional online resources relevant to the topic. The site also provides general PBL tools, a STEM and PBL newsletter series, and the opportunity for teachers to create and share their own lesson videos.
