Senior Kiauna Conley was recently selected as Hammond High Magnet School’s 2020-2021 Student of the Year.
Her parents are Shenika Conley and Eric Conley.
While maintaining a 4.0 GPA in her rigorous course work, Miss Conley is pursuing the International Baccalaureate diploma in the Career-related Programme.
She is a member of National Honor Society, Beta Club, Student Council and the HHMS cheerleading team.
In her spare time, she operates her own cosmetics business called Klassy Kosmetics.
From an anonymous source, a quote that guides her is “Initiating change begins with good intentions and a pure heart.”
With her favorite subject being medical/human sciences, she plans to attend Xavier University in the fall and major in biology with a pre-med focus. Her ultimate goal is to become a medical doctor.
